The Acronym of the Organization is ‘’BACORUDO’’ Which in full is, Basu Community Rural development Organization.
This same Organization was begun in 2009 by a group of 14 members led by Eugene Bwambale Africano.
It was biting poverty that led to the beginning of Bacorudo – Uganda.

To be the leading self-reliant, integral and holistic community in the region catering for the social welfare and general development of the people in Kasese.
Mission
We commit to: Providing essential social services to the people especially the suffering, the needy and the oppressed, Contributing to Uganda’s economic development through initiatives of socio-economic projects like village saving & credit scheme in the region

– Be a law abiding person and with love for development.
– Be ready and able to share your gifts with others.
– Have a positive mind in regard to development
– Be able to pay an annual subscription fee.
– For non – Ugandan national – there is need to apply using our online form.
– Ugandan Nationals can too fill the online form or meet the executive director or apply by letter writing through the Organization post Box address.
OBJECTIVES
1. To eradicate and alleviate biting poverty among the people of Kasese.
2. To provide essential health and hygienic services to the sick and the suffering people in the area.
3. To boost the economic power of the people in the area.
4. To resettle the affected homes & families from the psychological upsets, trauma and atrocities from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF rebels) insurgency from 1996-2001.
5. To sensitize the people on the major developmental issues through workshop, seminors ans conferances.
